Turning down Moonsong was my first and absolutely my personal "canon" path, but I did go back and play through the other way as well after finishing the current content on that path.
Sounds like she's sad if we do the other, I don't have the mental fortitude for that.

Oh she definitely is, but you get nice insight into her character and background. More than on the "happy" path. I did it once to see the dialogue.

I could see an argument for that, but there's really no reason she couldn't share that info with MC at some point on either path. I hope it can be done turning moonsong down the first time, I think it's better for the relationship, the other girl (evelyn?) doesn't have any power, and it makes better for the love story I think... I hope we will get more backstory from Evelyn after she comes back next update on happy path, because it doesn't make sense that she didn't say anything to MC at all while we get a whole flashback dump on the sad path.

Evelyn does have a power. she can see the next day in her dreams from the POV of anyone she touches.
